Data collection & field research
Scrap yards and collections belong to the natural habitat of the material collector. Thus, the institute has collected more than 450 samples of different vehicles.
The samples range from the year 1907 – 2018, from Alfa Romeo to Ferrari, Porsche and Volkswagen. The samples are usually taken on site and then examined in the laboratory.
